The Baby College is a program that addresses the needs of children between the ages of 0-3, and is a critical piece of our early intervention work. It is our goal to provide these residents both a range of information and the support necessary to raise happy and healthy children who enter school ready to learn. We are seeking a part-time Videographer to provide media technology support, film, and document the Baby College’s 9-Week parenting workshop. The Videographer will also provide media support to the Early Head-Start Program.

- Videotape 9-week programming
- Edit and assemble “9-Week Graduation Video”
- Attend weekly status meetings with Assistant Director and administration team
- Track, organize, and maintain inventory of all media equipment
- Set up and break down audio visual equipment for 9-week program, staff meetings, and other program activities
- Provide equipment trainings
- Burn work related DVD’s and CD’s upon request
- Keep an archive of HCZ videos and other content
- Research and evaluate equipment needs and make proposals for new equipment
- Serve as the graduation technology liaison between Baby College and the IT department
- Performs other duties as assigned
- A commitment to the mission and programs of HCZ
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent knowledge or work experience
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro, Apple Motion, iDVD, iMovie, and Photoshop
- Proficiency in video editing techniques, and video production equipment
- Ability to operate a Video Camera, and DSLR
- Familiarity with past, current, and upcoming media technologies
- Strong communion skills, both oral and written
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook
- Ability to handle multiple projects/task simultaneously
- Must be available to work on Saturday’s and be physically able to do heavy walking
