Job Description
The
Office Assistant and Receptionist will be responsible for maintaining a
clean, pleasant, and professional office environment and ensuring that
the company’s day-to-day business operations are smooth and seamless.
Tasks include but are not limited to: welcoming office visitors by
greeting them and notifying company personnel of visitor arrival;
answering the main telephone line and directing calls; sorting and
distributing mail; arranging for courier and messenger services;
referring inquiries; maintaining telecommunications system;
troubleshooting computer problems and acting as the liaison to outside
IT support company; maintaining office equipment by completing
preventive maintenance; ordering office supplies and equipment by
anticipating company needs; arranging office cleanings; filing, data
entry, and other clerical duties; maintaining staff records; purchasing
concert tickets; and enhancing the organization’s reputation by
facilitated a well-organized and efficient workplace.
Qualifications
The
ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and
attention to detail. We are looking for a bright, well-rounded, and
enthusiastic individual with some previous office management experience.
A general ‘tech savviness’ and facility with Microsoft Office are
pluses.
Benefits
This is a 25-hour per week position and the
Office Assistant is expected to work Monday-Friday from 10am-3pm. This
position could develop into a full-time staff position depending on the
company’s need and employee’s interest.
The position pays $15/hr.
