Coaches Wanted - Flag Football, Baseball and SAQ (Upper East Side)

Asphalt Green is a non-profit sports and fitness center located on the Upper East Side. We offer programs, classes, clinics and camps for adults and children (see www.asphaltgreen.org). We are currently looking for experienced, dependable, energetic coaches with working knowledge of youth fitness and experience in the individual disciplines/sports listed below. Experience teaching sports to very young children is a requirement for all of these roles. Unfortunately it is not enough to have played the game.

Speed, Agility & Quickness - Monday -- Friday 4pm - 6pm ($20 -$25 ph)
• Plan weekly workouts
• Inventory and maintain equipment CCTRX, SPARQ, medicine balls, plyo boxes, etc.)
• Conduct pre- and post- testing of all athletes each term
• Maintain attendance records for all participants and complete/distribute progress reports

College, semi-Professional, or professional track and field experience or personal training experience preferred. Specific speed, agility & quickness certifications preferred but not required.

Flag Football - Thursday 4:00-6:00pm, Friday's 4:15-7:30pm, Sunday 9:15am - 12:30pm ($18-$20 ph)
• Create practice plans to enhance sport skills and will be expected to
• Handle paperwork corresponding to their class' progress and attendance

NOTE: Coaches will be expected to teach approximately 5-10 hours per week

Competitive candidates will have college, semi-Professional, or professional football playing experience and an extensive knowledge of and passion for football.

Baseball -- weekdays after 2:30pm Saturday/Sunday 9:00am to 12:00pm ($18-$20 ph)
• Create practice plans to enhance sport skills and will be expected to
• Handle paperwork corresponding to their class' progress and attendance.

Competitive candidates will have college, semi-Professional, or professional baseball playing experience and an extensive knowledge of and passion for baseball. Previous experience coaching travel baseball teams are a plus.

NOTE: Coaches will be expected to work 5-10 hours per week
