FREITAG NYC looking for a Sales Associate (SoHo)

FREITAG has been manufacturing bags and accessories for women and men since 1993. Our materials are used, having seen service on the road. They are well-travelled truck tarpaulins, seat belts, bicycle inner tubes, airbags. Tough stuff - which makes our products tough, too. As for us, we are Swiss, which means we are acutely quality-conscious. We apply our recycled materials in a totally new way, insisting on superlative design and functionality. Every FREITAG product is made from original tarpaulins of different colors, markings and contours.

So every FREITAG product is a one-off.

Freitag is looking for a new Sales associate to join our F-Crew. . .do you think you got what it takes?

The PERFECT CANDIDATE would be:
*someone with an outgoing personality and able to engage in conversations
*a self-starter and highly motivated individual
*work independently and in a team
*takes pride in their work and appearance
*able to help run public/private events in the store

Retail experience, fluent in another language, and schedule flexibility is a plus! Part-time with anywhere from 20-30 hours a week.

As a sales associate, you will be expected to do the following:
*Be informed of the products' specifications and information
*Persuading customers to buy a product
*Identifying customer needs and directing them to an appropriate product
*Maintaining the quality of the store's presentation
*Provide courteous and prompt service
*Welcome customers as they enter and thank them as they leave
*Provide excellent after-sales service
