Travel Traders, the nations leader in hospitality retail, is currently hiring for SEASONAL (January to March) baristas for our busy gift shop located in at the Marriott Marquis Time Square. Our busy hotel gift shop/cafe features Starbucks coffee drinks, grab-n-go food along with gifts, souvenirs and sundries.

We are currently hiring Full or Part-Time Seasonal Baristas/Sales Associates who can work both morning and evening shifts. Our store hours are 6:00 am. to midnight Sunday to Wednesday and 6:00 a.m. to 2 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Team members are responsible for providing excellent service to all guests by:

· Making all guest feel welcome
· Suggestive selling
· Accurately ringing sales using a Point of Sale register system
· Precisely prepare Starbucks Coffee drink orders
· Stock and receive merchandise
Assist manager by keeping the store clean and neat through visual presentation standards

Qualifications include:

· Must have experience making coffee drinks in a coffee cafe such as Starbucks or similar· Previous retail sales experience a plus
· Have previous experience working on a cash register/Point of Sale System.
· Be on time and ready to work each scheduled shift
· Have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
· Have the ability to read, count and write to accurately; complete all required documentation.
· Have the ability to stand or move around, and handle merchandise throughout the store generally; weighing 0-50 pounds.
· Must be able to work various, hours, days, holidays or overtime as business requires
· Must be 18 years old to sell tobacco products.
