REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Some College preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years as a Receptionist or related experience in customer service
Skills: Outgoing and friendly personality, knowledge of phone systems, organization skills and the ability to multi-task. Excellent verbal communication skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer all telephone calls and direct same to appropriate staff.
- Greet and screen all visitors.
- Sort all incoming mail.
- Operate postage machine, stamp, and process all outgoing mail.
- Log in all in-coming mail/packages and direct to appropriate staff.
- Sort and distribute all faxes.
- Communicate with messenger companies for pick-ups.
- Refill all copiers and fax machines with paper when necessary.
- Schedule and confirm conference room usage for staff.
- Update staff extension list.
- Update and print staff sign in sheets.
- Print and post daily conference room calendars.
- Fingerprint volunteers and collect necessary paperwork and supporting documentation.
- Assist other departments with events, mailings, etc. (supervisor approval required).
- This position requires flexibility for daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
