TheCareer Network, an innovative and exciting program has implemented the Evidence-based practice of supported employment in CUCS’ supported housing Programs. We work with individuals with various special needs including a history of severe and persistent mental illness, HIV/AIDS and or a history of homelessness. Our mission is to assist program participants in achieving their employment goals. The program seeks to assist participants in living a full and satisfying life in the community.

Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant (part time) supports program management and direct service staff by carrying out various administrative responsibilities critical to the successful functioning of the program. Managing vendor accounts, vendor relations, reception coverage, purchases, management of petty cash and metro card distribution, filing, distributing incentives data entry and other office duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years office experience.
  • Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Computer literacy including spreadsheet and database skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • BA preferred.
