We seek Part-time Sales Assistants for the Carnegie Hall Gift Shop. Reporting to the Retail Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to: Daily handling of cashier register sales & daily cash accounting of all shop locations. Stocking, arrangement, and organization of shop merchandise on a daily basis. This will include necessary visits to the gift shop's off-site storage facility for restocking needs. Daily retrieval and receiving of store merchandise in a timely manner. Count-In/Count-Out, Load-In/Load-Out, and management/seller responsibilities of artist merchandise sales at evening concerts. Mail Order fulfillments. Quarterly team inventory evaluation with Finance Department.

Qualifications: Retail experience, customer service experience, ability to multi-task, and ability to work in a busy environment. Ability to work independently with an excellent attendance and punctuality record required. PC computer efficiency required. Prior knowledge with POS systems a plus. Classical Music knowledge a plus. Nights and weekends required. Able to work flexible schedule, average 4-5 days per week and 15-20 hours per week.
