STOCK COORDINATOR

Perry Ellis International is seeking a Part Time Stock Coordinator in (, L.I.,NY) to join its expanding Retail Division. The primary focus of the Stock Coordinator is to be a customer service and product knowledge expert who is committed to building and sustaining a long term relationships with our customers by providing an environment that enhances the buying experience. Our Stock Coordinators are responsible for the executions of all company defined best practices in the stock room and sales floor. This includes replenishment, maintenance of the Perry Ellis International brands represented in local Department stores.  Responsibilities also include organizing fixtures and apparel to satisfy visual and marketing standards as determined by the corporate office. 

Stock Coordinators must adhere to all company guidelines, procedures and applicable state and federal laws to ensure efficient daily operations. They must demonstrate high standards of performance and exhibit those standards. The ability to develop and maintain long term customer relationships is critical.


REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous Merchandise or Stock Coordinator experience, apparel or department stores experience a plus, especially in menswear.


• Good understanding of retail math.  Must be able to read and analyze business reports and purchase orders.


• Ability to multi-task and possess strong organization skills. 


• Must be able to balance servicing of multiple brands within various retailers.


• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.


• Ability to work independently and task manage appropriately.


• Must have daily access to the internet, a computer and printer.


• Must have own transportation to travel to stores.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking and hearing

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Strong people skills


• Must be able to multi task


• Proficient in computer business related software (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, etc.)


• Must be very knowledgeable of warehouse system and RF devices.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or an Associate’s Degree

Ability to use computer keyboard, standard telephone and other related business equipment.

Seeking an energetic individual for an sales position for the nation's leading specialty linen rental company in our New York City showroom on West 29th street. We provide luxury fabrics, table linens, napkins and chair treatments for a wedding and social events to a nationwide wholesale customer base consisting of event planners, florists, wedding coordinators, caterers, fine resorts/hotels and designers. 

Duties:
* Attract potential customers by answering product and service questions by phone and email;

* Assist current and potential customers with matching colors, styles, patterns and fabric textures to a requested theme, budget or style.

* Opening customer accounts by researching online, cold calling and recording account information for marketing purposes.

* Answer order questions and inquiries, resolve product issues.

* Document sales history in online customer CRM software.  Maintain customer records by updating account information in CRM software.

* Comfortably integrate into a fast pace yet rewarding event driven company environment

* Input contract and orders into proprietary rental software.

* Assist outside sales representatives with orders, inventory or product selection

* Willingness to learn proprietary rental software, enter quotes and orders, process data and analyze shipping times and methods.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed including help warehouse execute order fulfillment for events and analyze returning items to complete rental orders.

* Interact with warehouse and factory to ensure order fulfillment.
