Administrative Assistant/Front Desk Reception (Upper East Side)

children's dance school seeking a highly-responsible, personable yet
discreet individual with a strong, self-motivated work ethic.
Responsibilities include:
· General office duties, including but not
limited to answering phones, greeting customers, inventory and
restocking of office supplies and dancewear, organizing information and
data entry.
· Marketing activities, including but not limited to
preparation and distribution of e-newsletters, postcards; establishing
and maintaining relationships with dance-affiliated organizations;
coordination of studio rentals and on-site birthday parties
Qualifications:
•
Demonstrate organizational and time management skills with ability to
set priorities and meet deadlines in a self-directed manner
• Answer
incoming calls and communicate with callers in a professional, friendly
and efficient manner; convert inquiries into sales: learning our
philosophy and being able to communicate it clearly to potential clients
• Excellent communication, writing and computer skills are a MUST; Proficient in MS office
Dance experience a plus.
Experience with children a plus.
Bilingual French or Spanish a plus but not necessary.
Monday through Friday afternoon-early evening and Saturday morning-mid afternoon
