Grandaisy Bakery is currently interviewing for part time and full time Bakery Retail Associates.
Grandaisy Bakery is an artisan bakeshop. Our products are made in small batches with an emphasis on local ingredients. We produce rustic breads that have earned the ZAGAT guide's highest ranking and are found in the tristate area's finest restaurants, hotels and markets. We offer gourmet sandwiches, delectable desserts and fabulous coffee all at affordable prices. It's a place where everyone can enjoy the luxury of a great bakery. It is our mission to be a part of a community where residents from all walks of life come together and interact. Whether it be on the way to work when a coffee and a brioche hit the spot or as part of a daily stop on the way from the local butcher or vegetable market, our community counts Grandaisy Bakery to provide excellent service along with delicious and unique baked goods and drinks.

Duties will include:
- Greeting all customers in a warm and friendly manner, engaging with them about products offered.
- Making excellent coffee to accompany our delicious breads, pastries, pizzas and sandwiches.
- Ensuring top-notch customer service by handling counter transactions in a friendly, fast and efficient manner.
- Communicating clearly and effectively with customers and co-workers to ensure orders are taken and filled quickly and efficiently.
- Cutting breads and pizzas, properly wrap, package and serve all products for retail.
- Stocking beverages and supplies.
- Following and maintain safety and organizational procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team; ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to sell proactively.
- Aptitude to gain extensive product knowledge
- Position requires standing and walking for period of 3-5 hours without a rest break.
- Occasional moderate to heavy lifting and carrying, bending and reaching overhead may be required.
