Sales Associates/Bikes Specialists are key to our success. They are the ones responsible for providing a unique experience to each of our customers. Sales Associates/Bikes Specialists who are successful in our stores are friendly and outgoing in an environment that believes in delighting our customers at all times. In particular, these employees specializes in Bicycles understanding the mechanics of assembling and servicing bicycles, including knowledge of all bicycle components as well as being able to troubleshoot issues, problems, and solve them.

Duties and responsibilities:

While following all store Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), and company policies, sales associates shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:

Customer Service:
o Provide courteous and prompt service
o Welcome customers as they enter and thank them as they leave
o Assist customers in locating what they're looking for
o Provide excellent after-sales service
o Smile

Sales:
o Be informed of the products' specifications and information
o Identifying customer needs and directing them to an appropriate product
o Operating the POS system to complete transactions
o Processing various payment types

Bikes:
o Explain the mechanics of assembling and servicing bicycles, including adjusting disc brakes, changing tires, and understanding the Shimano internal hubs.
o Determine the correct size frame for each customer, and adjust the saddle and handlebars.
o Explain to customers how to shift, brake safely, etc.
o Explain what other accessories are needed.
o Display the bikes according to merchandising guidelines
o Maintain all the bikes inventory clean and in fully operating conditions (tires with air, POP in place, etc.)

Inventory management:
o Assist maintaining the store inventory
o Arranging inventory on the store floor
o Tagging merchandise
o Setting up promotional material and displays
o Replenishing inventory
o Reorganizing items
o Maintaining a neat and tidy store
Other duties:
o Opening or closing the store
o Basic housecleaning
o Answer phone calls
o Security and loss prevention
o Attend staff meetings
Other responsibilities will be assigned from time to time.

Hiring full and part time barista's for a new cafe, affiliated with The Smile, near Chelsea Market. This is a great opportunity to work in an amazing environment with outgoing and friendly people.

Principle Duties:Serve coffee, espresso, teas, fresh juices and pastries.
Ensure customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly with each customer in a friendly and courteous way.
Be clean & organized. Able to clean and restock whenever necessary throughout shift and end of shift.

Requirements:Barista experience (knowledge of coffee, ability to make latte art and pull great tasting shots).
Customer service skills (very important).
Willingness to receive advanced training.

Punctual and responsible (lateness is not acceptable).
