Krossover is looking for someone to lead our social media efforts. This is going to begin as a part time position but at the end of a 3 month trial period, we are going to hire the best candidate as our head of social media marketing. In the mean time, we will continue to pay up to 5 candidates as they prove themselves worthy of the title, "Social Media King of the Sports World".
Skills?
It's simple. You better be really freakin active on facebook, twitter, and you need to have an active blog. If you don't do any of those things, then this position is going to be tough for you. We're looking for people who are natural writers, and natural "sharers" online. And of course, most of what you are sharing needs to be about sports.
Location?
For the initial 3 month competition period, you can be located anywhere, but if you are picked to be our person, we are going to expect you to be able to work out of our NYC office.
How to Apply?
Well obviously, you need to fill in this form. But don't waste our time telling us you have a journalism degree from Harvard. We don't give a sh*t. If you know sports, especially high school and college sports, and you know how to effectively use social media, then show us what you have done - writing samples, twitter following, tweets that are getting lots of impressions, etc.
When Does it Start?
Immediately. We need you to start yesterday if you're good enough.
