Island Def Jam Rocks the House at AINYC's Career Service Week !

On Monday, April 25th, Island Def Jam Music Group Creatives: JP Robinson, SVP Creative, Alex Haldi, Art Director & Illustrator and Patrick Hegarty, Art Director packed the house for this quarter's Career Service Week Event !  AINYC students learned from the music's industry's best on What It Takes to Get Into the World of Music Packaging Design and stayed long after the conclusion of the program to ask one on one questions and receive design advice !  Top Creative Executive JP Robinson was extremely impressed with the level of knowledge of AI's student body and looks forward to partnering with The Art Institute of New York City on future projects !

The Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible

The Food Network's Restaurant: Impossible is looking for students to be on the show as part of the design crew.

Students will be helping out with the renovation of the restaurant (painting, remodeling, decorating etc.). The shoot will take place June 1st and 2nd at a restaurant in Long Island (TBA closer to shoot).  There is no compensation, but meals will be provided. Students should be okay with being on camera and wear comfortable clothing with no logos.

These are the 3 shifts available:

1) noon-8pm on June 1st

2.) 8pm-2am on June 1st-June 2nd

3.) 9am to 5pm on June 2nd
